WHAT IS IT?
It's an exciting group exercise class that mix traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. It is designed in a way that pushes the campers harder than they would push themselves, thus resembling a military fitness camp.
Exercise styles can vary depending on the trainer; the classes generally are out doors; rain or shine at 45 minute to 1 hour intervals. During the 4-8 week session, it’s early to rise to participate in sprints, push ups and various forms of plyometric in a circuit training format; with little rest between exercises. You will work on technique, form, core training, breath control, relaxation, and obtain a better understanding of how your body works.
These fitness classes have grown in popularity over the years, primarily because they offer a new way to get a low-cost, efficient and challenging workout with quick results; all while cultivating a SUPPORTIVE and MOTIVATIONAL community of like-minded people!
